Once upon time there was a sweet little boy who was physically abused by his stepfather. Choked until all the blood vessels in his little eyes burst. Marks on his back from being shoved against the wall. Some of you have seen the pics. Today I ran across the idiots myspace and here is an excerpt from his interests....
wow. a lot. my kids, my wife, my family and friends. my ministry to the wvccc, where i do an outreach to the children there that have been victims of abuse, neglect, abandonment...or all 3!
Good thing I wasn't drinking anything at the time or it would have come out of my nose from laughing so hard. I wonder if said ministry knows of his past abusing children!

Weekend update
Friday night - Mr. H had a friend over when I got home. They ran to Frys Electronics for some cable for something or other. We all had leftover spaghetti for dinner. Mr H then consented to watch 'Under the Tuscan Sun' w/ me. Ok movie.
Saturday - Mr. H's day to sleep in. I was up by 830 w/ the Ryster. We played and watched TV, finally at noon I decided he had slept enough and we needed to run to Sams Club for our afternoon bbq. We took showers and headed to Sams, did our shopping, came home. Diva and family came over as well as some other friends of Mr. H and their 2 boys. I was just in a foul mood most of the day and then got a headache on top of it. Rob joined us much later after all the swimming was done.
The lack of communication between those two is a crack up. Mr. H told me at Sams that Rob wouldn't be over for a few hours, Rob's version is that Mr. H was supposed to call him back, and never did. When I mentioned to Rob that Mr. H had said he wouldn't be over for a few hours, he said no, that he would be out doing errands for a few hours. The difference? I haven't figured it out. Just glad he made it over and I was able to pick on him. I love you man!
Everybody left about 800 and we ran to Target to get Mr. H a MP3 player so he can have music at work. He also got a nice new watch, but the band is way too big. Got Ry some new 'dancing' shoes and some cute jeans, and me nothing. Came home put Ry to bed, he played w/ his MP3 and I watched 'In Her Shoes' Different than what I thought it would be.
Sunday - my day to sleep in. That lasted til about 1030 w/ only 2 or 3 interruptions for Ry. I don't know why Daddy can sleep all he wants and not get disturbed, but I have to get popped in on every so often. I can't really complain, as most of the times she came running in - "mommy, mommy, I need a hug." Who can refuse?
Total lazy day. I had a work picnic to go to, but after my also very interrupted nap, I said forget it and we stayed home. There goes 14 bucks, but I don't care. Mr> H ran to the store to get us some steak and came home and grilled them for us. Yummy. We then watched some movie I had never heard of, 'A Sound of Thunder' better than I figured it would be.
Now everyone is in bed except for me. I blogged and will now catch up on some shows I didn't watch yet and continue doing laundry.
Good night!

My weekend
-Drunken bowling was fun. Not nearly as much fun as when we went last time, but still fun.
-Wiggles was fun, by fun I mean it doesn't matter if I was bored out of my mind, which I wasn't, as long as the kids had fun.
-Tomorrow we are meeting friends at the park to feed the ducks and play. Then we will go get that cell phone and eat lunch and take naps. I am hoping for the nap anyway.
Later!

Drunken bowling part 2
Going bowling again tonight. Mr. H's friend from his old job is moving back to Idaho this weekend, so we are going bowling tonight. May not be as fun w/ just the 3 of us. Need to see if Rob wants to go still and we put a message into some friends in Prescott. I'll be drinking and bowling so I'll have fun anyway!
It's Taylors birthday weekend, his birthday is Tuesday, so he had a friend over last night and Mr. H is taking them to race go carts or something today. Still don't know what to get him, he doesn't need anything, and he can't even think of stuff he wants. We are still debating a cell phone. I only want to get him one because when school starts back up in the fall it is Jr. High/Middle School and it is further away across a major street. Still don't even know if he is bussing it to school or what. With a phone, he can call us or Grandma or his Mom if she is late. We still think he is too young for one though, so we are torn. It would just be a prepaid one anyway, nothing I would have to put out money every month for or anything.
Right now Mr. H is off to Home Depot to get some chlorine to clean this nasty pool. I will run to Costco when he gets back, for hopefully cheaper gas, some Dockers pants for his new job and some groceries. Then when I get back the boys can go play. Ry and I can have lunch and naps!
What a day!

Finally some progress
We did it! Well got a real good start anyway. The guys cleared everything out and organized Mr. H's workshop/tool area. Diva and I went through all the clothes and shoes, although 1 shoe is still missing and of course it is my absolute favorite Doc sandal ever! My other pair of Doc sandals ruined as well as 2 HUGE bags of clothes. Our garage flooded from the rain and the stuff got molded and trashed. Bummer, but less to sort through. Went through a bunch more boxes and threw stuff out. It is amazing the stuff that gets packed into boxes. It is not just me either, I know I didn't pack a mini pumpkin from God only knows when, that turned to dust. Still haven't found some books of Moviemans either.
We aren't finished - we were at it for more than 9 hours and still didn't get done. We have it all moved back in nicely with room to work now. At night, when the kids are in bed we can go out and go through stuff and get it all repacked into plastic tubs, in case it floods again. Get all the yard sale stuff in an area and get rid of it ASAP!
Today, when Mr. H gets up he needs to go get carpet cleaner form Home Depot and we need to clear out the living room and get carpet cleaned. Diva and family coming back over after church so Baron can help w/ setting the TV and everything back up on the new stand.
They are supposed to call tonight to set up delivery for my new living room. Will take pitures tomorrow!

Change of plans
So when we got back from seeing baby Jack, there was a message saying the ottoman was in and to call back for delivery. I called and told them I didn't want the ottoman delivered until the couch was in and did they know when that might be. She didn't but said she'd get the saleperson to check for me. She then came back and said oh the couch is in too. GREAT! Deliver it all on Monday then.
We then decided instead of a rush trip to Magic Mountain we really should just stay home and get the house ready and clean for our pretty new living room!
Called the wrecking crew and they had a change of plans too, and aren't going to Payson this weekend after all, so Diva and The Baron will come help w/ the garage. Hopefully, we will actually get it done this time. :)
Now instead of spending money on our Magic Mountain weekend, I can get my stuff at Ikea for the TV and something for all the DVD's. We are going tomorrow if you want to join us!

I'm a slacker
I talked a friend at work into working for me, so I didn't have too. When Mr. H gets home we are going to get another free rental car and go see baby Jack, Thor and Genevas new baby. Tonight I have lots of laundry to do and get packed. Tomorrow I work for a whole 4 hours and then we are going to Magic Mountain. Grandma is watching Ryster and Taylor will be at his Moms. A weekend for just us. Then Monday, Mr. H and Rob start their new wonderful jobs!
I should get a shower in before Diva gets here....

It's huge

Here is our new TV. It is wonderful. We love it. 56 inches of viewing pleasure. Now that I posted this, I am wondering why. Those of you here, have already seen it, the other one doesn't care about tv's. Oh well.
I want to go to IKEA now and get something like this to put it on.

SWEET!
Mr. H may not even know yet, but he got a new way better job!!!!!!!
The guy called first thing this morning and left a message. I immediately called my honey and texted him the number, he hasn't called me back yet, so I don't know if he has talked to him yet. Talking to Diva though, this guy has already told The Baron that he is hiring both Rob and Mr. H. Rob already knows he has been hired, and apparently they will need to go in this afternoon to fill out paperwork!
This is going to be so awesome for our family! He'll be making almost 5 bucks more an hour, the health insurance is apparently awesome and super cheap. So I can stop paying about 150.00 a month for me and the kids at my work. We'll do our whole family it all on his for like 80.00 a month. Plus, Todd says the Lasik eye surgery is covered too, so I may not have to wait til next year for that. The best part is I can work less hours as soon as my work will let me!
I am going to go write up his 2 week notice so he can hand that in tomorrow!!

Nothing much going on
Yesterday we went to try on bridal dresses for Diva. Uncle Todd stayed here w/ Ry and the boys. Very easy, mission accomplished. She already knew which one she wanted pretty much, so she tried on a whole 3 dresses. She then took us girls out for a drink. We had to go to 3 different places, before we got to one that would allow smoking. Yummy drink!
We then came back here to hang until Mr. H got home as they were going to help us start on the garage. By the time he got home at 8:00 and grilled us all some burgers we decided we were not getting to the garage as it was getting late and we were all tired. We'll start next weekend. We need to get it cleared out, everything sorted and piles for giveaway, yard sale, and I am sure there is just plenty of trash. He would like to just pitch everything in there, but I need to go through it. I have to go through it thinking if there was some disaster would I care if I never saw it again. I am such a pack rat. Most of the stuff was just moved from the last house so it has been packed in boxes for over 6 years now. Obviously, whatever is in there I am not missing.
Today I am supposed to go to Sam's Club and Costco to look at big screen tv's. First I wanted the pool resurfaced, but the guy hasn't called me back. Then I wanted to get a hot tub, but that is just too much work. We'd have to get an electrician out here to wire a new outlet, and Mr. H would have to build a deck in the spot we would put it. So, now we have decided to get a fancy new tv to go w/ our new couch that should be here soon.
That's my exciting weekend. Man, my blogs are BORING, but they are mainly for Brig's benefit as everyone else already knows what I am doing or have done.

Good times, with good friends
DRUNKEN BOWLING ALWAYS FUN
So, Friday night, Mr. H and I went bowling w/ the newlyweds, Rob and Mei, and Movieman too. It was lots of fun. I drank quite a bit and still bowled well. Mostly! We all had a great time and I got a free pair of socks. Mr. H won every game of course. Diva and The Baron couldn't make it on such short notice, but there will be more drunken bowling in my future. I love it and we don't do it often enough.
GHETTO JENGA
Saturday night, everyone came over including Diva, The Baron and the boys. Movieman, unfortunately had to work. Mr. H grilled burgers and we played our cheap wal-mart tumbling blocks game, which will now be known as Ghetto Jenga. It was still fun. We need to do more game nights more often. I want to play Robs Truth or Dare jenga, it looks like fun.
Farewell to Mei - for now
Sunday night we went to Robs for kabobs and yummy chow mein. We hung out and ate good food. Mr. H had to leave early to get him and the kids to bed. I stayed to hang out for a bit and some friend of Robs came over and we all listened to Movieman and all his stories. I have heard all his stories so many times, over the years, but he still tells them so good and makes everyone laugh.

BOREDOM
Although I should really be cleaning the house, I am taking silly quizzes instead.....

You are evil, but you haven't yet mastered the dark side. Fear not though - you are on your way to world domination. |

California
Was loads of fun! What should have taken under 6 hours to get there took closer to 8. There was construction at this spot where mapquest was telling us to change to like 3 different freeways within a miles distance and the signs were all screwy so we ended up going to wrong way for a bit. We got to our 1st hotel checked in, got room service ordered for Grama and the kids and then Mr. H and I took off for Medieval Times it was great, silly fun.
Sunday we woke up early to get to our Disney hotel, The Grand Californian - we checked in, gave them all our luggage and got our park tickets and headed out. We were to meet our friends at Space Mountain at 9:30 am. Luckily they were running late too, so we actually met up in line. They all went on Space Mountain, while Grama, Ry and I went to see "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" where we ruined Ry for all 3-D viewing experiences in the future. Some parts scared her, so now she won't wear the glasses to any other movie. We then went to Fantasyland and found some princesses and met up w/ everyone later. Ry and Grama went to nap later on, and when we went to get them for the fireworks that night, Ry wasn't feeling well at all. So we skipped the fireworks, and just went to the restaurant in the hotel and then to bed.
Monday, was California Adventure Park. First thing we did was get a portrait of the kids drawn. Took much longer than I thought it would. All the girls had a Princess lunch scheduled for 12:20. It was raining this day, so when we showed up, we were told we could eat outside or wait til the next seating at 12:50. Even though it was covered outside, w/ Ry being sick we waited. We had our lunch while the boys played. We met back up and Daddy came w/ us to try some kiddie stuff. We saw some more characters, and the Muppets 3-D movie. We all met up after that. Grama and Ry went on their way, so we could all go on The Tower of Terror, which was awesome. I screamed the whole time, but I loved it. This park closed at 6, so we hung a bit as a group, then our friends went on their way. Grama and Ry went back to hotel and we took Taylor over to Disneyland for a couple more hours. Tried to go on Space Mountain, since I didn't go the day before, but it was closed. Finally took the monorail back to hotel. Mom suggested we go have Sushi and she'd get room service with the kids. We went to one of the other hotels and had sushi. It was the first place Mr. H had ever had sushi when we went many years before. It continued to rain all night and at about 4am the alarms in the hotel went off. I yelled at everybody to get out, but it was a false alarm. They didn't know if it was the rain or what set it off but everything was fine. A few more hours of sleep, then back to Disneyland.
Tuesday - we never met up w/ our friends again, dead cell phone, so we all did the smaller stuff for Ry and Taylor hadn't been on any of it yet. Filled up the kids autograph books from all the characters and stayed til the end. Saw the parade and back to bed.
Wednesday - checking out of hotel, but going to do some more shopping, so they will keep the car. Shopped and then went to the beach for a bit. Had lots of fun. Buried Taylor in the sand, played in the cold water and collected some shells. We finally left at about 3:30, which was silly, we should have stayed later so not to take 2 hours to get 40 miles in rush hour traffic. Oh well, we stopped at some outlets along the way and ate dinner and finally got back home after midnight.
That is the California update!

WAR!!
Sucked as usual. Not really. I started out not even wanting to go. It just isn't as fun as it used to be. We have the RV now though, and since my Mom already paid for it, mainly for this stuff, I would have felt guilty if I didn't use it.
We got there later than Mr. H wanted to Thursday night, moved the RV a bit so we had a little more space between our really cool "neighbors". Got in our garb and headed off to try to get some food. It was after 9 though, so most of the food merchants were closed. We got the last bit of Chinese food that was left. We then headed over to our friends camp, and watched Ry run around like a crazy girl for HOURS!
Up and down the carpets, between all the fire pits, falling on her face, being shy and just being so darn cute. She finally fell asleep all cozy in her big wagon about midnight. We stayed til about 2am and then trudged back to the other end of the park to the RV area. Mr. H drank too much and got sick that night - fun times!
Friday, slept in and then headed to Wal-Mart to get some food and flashlights. The generator wasn't working so we only had 1 little tap light that our very cool RV neighbors lent us. We came back a few hours later got dressed, went to get fried pickles and some sausage and then visited a few camps. Spent most of Friday night hanging with some kids by the fire listening to them make up and tell stories. They were really cool kids and it was fun. We wished Taylor had been there to meet the kids.
Saturday - Stephi and Todd were there when we got up. Got dressed for the day and Mr. H went off to fight. We headed down to merchants row where we ran into Mrs. Rhino, who had the meanest, bitchiest look on her face the whole time. Couldn't wait for them to leave - man she sucks! Wandered for a bit, ate more fried pickles, then went back to the RV to wait for a call from bitchy Rhino that the guys had moved the fighting to an easier spot for us to see. We got the call and walked down there, only to find out the fighting was done. Oh well!
I was waiting on Mr. H so he could hang w/ Ry for a bit before I took her back to Grandmas for the night, so we could party finally, w/ Steph and Todd! HA - party poopers - had to drink all day, while I was not drinking so I could drive home and back.
I took Ry home, showered quick and headed back. We had a venison dinner w/ some friends and then proceeded to go back to Merchants row for some shopping. Didn't get anything really. Finally went to the party camp, where Steph and Todd left (I still love them) We had Stephs niece w/ us and we hung out for a bit laughing at drunk people. We walked Cassie home and went back. On the way we ran into a sweet drunk girl from Finland who came back w/ her boyfriend to the party. We laughed real hard at some really messed up converstaions which I will not go into here. I'll just say we met Adrians soul mate and she is dating Sly.
Only 1 girl pissed me off this war so that is good, and no it wasn't you Steph.
How's that for an update Brig?

So Sirius....
My best friend Phillip ROCKS!!!!! It was so nice to listen to Howard again this morning, even for my short drive into work, and then tonight after the gym, I'll be able to listen to him again. Or the 80's station, or maybe Trucker Talk, so much to choose from.
It is too bad I ruined the surprise really. It would have been nice to go out to my car unexpectedly and see it there. Of course, Phillip being in the van when I woke up, gave some of it away. Then when he told me he couldn't bring my gift inside, I knew. He is so crazy like that.
I already have 1 song programmed in. At anytime, it can find this song on any station and let me listen to it. It's The Dead Kennedys. I love it.
I was going to go out my lunch break and play w/ it and get it mounted to my dash, but I wanted to write this instead. We can always work on it tonight once the kids are in bed.
Not having to listen to "FREE RADIO" anymore is going to be awesome. Not only did the morning show w/ Adam Corolla, that replaced Howard SUCK, but the crap they were playing at night sucked too. All this crap advertising for "FREE RADIO" was really annoying.
Technically, I still have "FREE RADIO" as I am paid up for a year. At first, I did think it was silly to pay for radio, but it's so much better now that I have it.
So, thank you again my wonderful friend. You are the greatest and I love you.
