Amazingly enough the tooth did get pulled Friday morning by the oral surgeon. It took all of 5 minutes total including stitching, which makes me even more annoyed - as if that is possible- with my original dentist office.
Of course, had I not been desperate to get tooth taken care of this was so not an Oral Surgeon I would have chosen. Old office, in not so great neighborhood, old man that was shaky. LOL Oh well the tooth is gone and I am happy now. He was even nice enough to call me first thing this morning to see if everything was ok.
I was in alot of pain yesterday but today is better. We went to a bbq at a friends house today and I spent most of the time resting on the couch.

I am soooooooo pissed. Our origInal dentist has left the practice and they have all these new dentists. The chick at the desk was supposed to show the Friday dentist my xray and make sure he was fine doing it, since the one that was there on Wednesday wasn't comfortable pulling my tooth. She never called to tell me there was any problem so I rushed to the fucking dentist, he looks at tooth, looks at xray again and says oh yeah, I am not comfortable doing this either I'm going to have to send you to specialist to have it pulled. I bitched I took the whole day off to get it done and he tells me I can have a free day off now. Stupid prick, I don't want a free day off I want my tooth pulled. Get back up to the front am ready to just leave w/o referral to specialist and start over somewhere else, but I wait and ask the girl what happened thought she was going to call me if there was a problem, she doesn't know why he won't do it now and she had showed him this morning and he was fine. Suppposedly the dentist that was there on Thursday didn't have a problem w/ pulling it either so I don't know why they didn't just make me an appointment for her to do it, but fuck it, I don't care, I'm done w/ that place anyway. I get to take another whole day off and go to the oral surgeon/specialist next Friday. Then I'll be finding a new dentist after baby girl is born. Plus, I have to call the endodontist on Monday that was supposed to do root canal anyway, I think my gum behind the tooth is all infected now, it just sucks.
We got these taken back in March, but didn't get the actual photos until April. DAMN! I got some cute kids. As you can tell the photographer just loved Ry and took some goofy pictures of her, just because she was having so much fun w/ her.
The kids and the suitcase is my favorite and is going to be a 16 by 20 inch canvas so it looks like a painting. I told Mr. H we can look at it and just imagine they are leaving home.
we got them taken at Sams Club, they had some travelling road show type deal. They are so darn cute and will make great Mothers day presents for all the Grandparents.
Making these for Ry's teachers......Too freakin CUTE!!!!!! It is teacher appreciation week next week! Actual Teacher Appreciation Day is May 6.

This last weekend we went to Tucson for a karate tournament.
We had a great weekend but not enough sleep. We finally got to hotel and all checked in after 10pm. We didn't leave until almost 7 after I had to run back into house 3 different times for stuff, then we stopped at McDonalds for dinner. We passed our turn off for hotel and had to turn around. Jerry came over and we hung out until after 2am.
We got up Saturday and walked around hotel looking for water slide and lazy river, had breakfast and then were headed back to room to put our suits on when Rylee got sick and puked on the edge of a gift shop and again in hallway. We had just eaten, it was hot outside and she was running around w/ her brother before hand. We rested in the room for awhile and then went to pool until after 3. We were going to try to get to zoo but when we got there it had just closed at 4. We ate some lunch and went to a comic book store Dave had seen a commercial for. Went back to hotel and I got a little nap and then ordered myself some room service because everybody else had the leftovers from lunch. We rented National Treasure at Ry's insistence and she lasted all of 10 minutes into movie before she fell asleep - we didn't start watching until 11pm.
Sunday morning we got up and went to tournament and Phillip actually showed and on time! It was quick tournament w/ only having the 4 events to go to and not nearly as many kids as the Phoenix one. We even had seating in the bleachers. Ry was getting upset that she wasn't getting any trophies, even though she gets a medal for every event. We all know that girl can punch, as our neighbors broken window can prove, but once she gets up there she just gets too shy or something. She finally did get a trophy, and a 1st place one at that for Fastest Kick. That is the same event she got 3rd place last time. I think we were out of there a little after noon. We went to lunch, showed Phillip the comic book store and headed home. Phillip took Taylor w/ him and we all left. I made Dave stop at Ostrich Farm on the way, and we went on the monster jeep ride and fed the animals. It was a nice 45 minute or so detour.

This morning Ry was grouchy, I know what a surprise....
She yelled at me - again another shocker...
I said "I don't know who you think you are young lady!!!" This was being said as she was slamming my bedroom door.
She opens back up my door and says "Oh yeah, You know exactly who I am, I am Rylee !!!"
and slammed my door again.
Can't argue w/ that!!!
Yesterday on the way to spend Easter at my brother in laws house, got a call from one of Rys teachers that one of the kids Moms had passed away. I wasn't particularly close to this Mom but did talk to her and saw her at all the school functions. She was even at Ry's birthday party a few weeks ago.
She leaves behind a husband and 2 adorable children, a daughter Ry's age and a son that is 3.
Today was the saddest thing watching that poor little girl not want her Daddy to leave her at school. Of course, I am over emotional these days, but I just cried the whole way home and still am.
Those poor babies growing up w/o their Mommy, they are so young they may not even remember her.

Just thought it was time to update some blogs.
Nothing really new and exciting to report. Getting fat. LOL.
Did my income taxes and e-filed yesterday, now just to figure out what to do w/ the refunds!
New Refrigerator? Better truck for Mr. H? Trip to Hawaii for just the two of us? Trip for the whole family somewhere? Pay on some Credit cards?
Well we have tentatively decided to get a new fridge and take ourselves to Hawaii, but not necessarily go on the cruise. Then again, I can think right now I'll be ok leaving a 2 month old baby home w/ Grama, but when it actually gets here, we don't really see that happening.
Mr. H job is going well, my job is still wonderful in the fact that it is still slow, so I work as little as possible. Unfortunately they won't let me just reduce my hours more on a permanent basis at this time. Which I think is lame since they are giving all this time away anyway.
Just planning Ry's 5th birthday party. I think it is going to be at Enchanted Island but I haven't confirmed yet. Doesn't look like Disneyland is going to happen this year for her birthday time like it has been. It stinks, but Mom and I decided we will just do something fun everyday that week after Ry gets out of school. Of course, this is going to come back and bite me in the ass later on in life when my adult daughter still wants a birthday week. Oh well, like mother like daughter!
Santa was good to us all this year and we had a great Christmas. My best gift was seeing the babys heartbeat 2 days after Christmas.
Grama went home yesterday, I have to go back to work Tuesday, maybe. I am going to go in tomorrow and sign up to be off on Tuesday, so we'll see. Mr H. and the boy will go play paintball w/ thier new fancy guns.

Anyway, nothing much here. Christmas is almost here - yay!!!! I am mostly done except for Ginger, who Dave drew for and my Mother in law. I already got her her gift from me for the name exchange but we, our family, will still be getting her more. Now to just wrap everything. Or wait until my Mom gets here on Thursday, then she can wrap it all. :)
Mr. H is off tomorrow and our fun filled day will be cleaning out the office. We're getting a daybed to go in here for Mommy when she is visiting. So we have to clear it all out and get rid of this pee soaked (thanks Dottie) carpet that is in here. I want to pick up bed tomorrow and have room all ready for when she arrives Thursday night. We also have Taylors winter band concert tomorrow night and then Ry's xmas program is on Wednesday.
I am getting off work a few hours early Tuesday and Thursday. I am only working a few hours Wednesday and I am off all day Friday. I am then off all of xmas week as well. Man it is going to suck when business picks up again and I am forced to work a full 9 hour day. I really need to put in to work less, permanently now that Mr. H is back to work and since they are allowing so much time off these days anyway. Then come September I'll have to change my hours to come in earlier, to work better w/ Ry who will be in kindergarten. Can't even believe it!!!!!!

Vegas was fun! Mary was standing over my bed at 630am to get me up and going to Vegas. We got out of here by about 730, but had to turn back after a few miles away to get all my coins that Ry and I had sorted. Turns out I didn't need them as not 1 stinking slot machine takes coins anymore. It sucked!!!
On the way we stopped in Laughlin and won a lovely bracelet. Had a 3.99 breakfast w/ a huge hamsteak and eggs. We were going to get pedicures but the place was too busy. We then headed to Vegas. On the way to our hotel we saw another cheap nail place and pulled in for our pedicures. I got to sit next to a woman that either still is a man or once was a man. Huge muscles, man face and receeding hairline, as well as a giant rock on his/her finger.
We met up w/ Mom and her friends at hotel, hung out in our rooms for a bit and then headed to the strip. Both Mary and I hadn't been in over 10 years, so it was very different. We wandered around and I got a giant Pina Colada on the way back to car around midnight. We were headed back to our hotel. We dropped off two of the ladies and went w/ Mom and 1 of her friends to the casino near our hotel. Gambled for a bit and then had another cheap breakfast. Got to our rooms about 3am and crashed.
Sunday we got up and went to brunch where Mary and I had Bloody Marys and Mimosas - although the Mimosas sucked. The other ladies wanted to shop and we just wanted to get back to the strip. We told Mom we were going to pay for the shuttle to get us to the strip as that is why we came to Vegas. We couldn't drive ourselves as we had a few drinks at breakfast and were planning on drinking the rest of the day. They ended up dropping us off and we roamed the strip for 12 hours. We started at Hooters where we were dropped off, headed to Excalibur, took the tram to Mandalay Bay, did not pay 17 bucks to go to aquarium, off to the Luxor, where we were just in time for Criss Angel!!!!
We were headed to his shop and they had a section roped off and the crowd was just forming. He performed a trick in this fountain....
We had a perfect view of his behind. Mary, not knowing or caring who he was, wasn't paying attention to him but to the others around him and busted his little card trick. We couldn't see the actual trick that was performed in the fountain, we'll have to wait for season 4 for that. Mary saw one of his staff walk behind him to appear to look into fountain behind him, but he was actually handing him the card that the girl had chosen and taking away the rest of the deck to place in yet another crew members back pocket. I didn't care, I still got to see him. I was happy. Then hung out between his shop and production office trying to get better pictures. Got the family some goodies from his shop and headed on our way.
We got Monorail tickets and saw pretty much everything we wanted to see that we hadn't seen the night before. We went to the Stratosphere, but did not pay 15 bucks to go to the top.
We roamed and drank and gambled and drank until about 2am when we called Mom to pick us back up and take us back to hotel. Our hotel was about 17 miles from the strip.
Monday morning I had to get up and have breakfast and take a hotel tour. It was long, but well worth the free room. The car was loaded up and ready to go by the time I was done. We headed out. We were going to go by way of Laughlin again as Mom wanted a bracelet but an hour into trip there was a huge accident and word was that it would take 2-3 hours to clear. We turned around and headed home by way of Hoover Dam instead. We stopped somewhere for lunch near the dam. We got home about 8pm that night.
My Mom has been here all week and goes home Monday. She'll be back in a month for xmas though so it's ok. I got a lot of my shopping done Friday. I had never really done the whole Black Friday thing, and guess I still haven't fully experienced it as nothing was worth me getting up before 5am. I got up at 1130am on Friday and got dressed to get to Mervyns before 1pm. Got my stuff , checked out in Lingerie dept, no waiting and said to myself, that wasn't bad at all, I'm going to try Target. Target also wasn't bad as I had to check out in Electronics dept and also no line. They suckered me into a credit card with them, lord knows that's all I need is a Target card, I love that store. Anyway, it saved me 10% for the whole day, so I got it. Ended up going to 2 more Targets before the day was over. Finally got the game I was looking for at the last Target. So most of my shopping is done for immediate family anyway. Plus I now have that nifty Target card for future purchases.

Nothing real exciting going on here. We'll see my Mom this weekend and for Halloween. I tried to talk her into staying for a bit, but she has some plans coming up back home. I am meeting her in Vegas the 2nd weekend in November. Mary and I are driving there and will meet up w/ her and her friends that are driving there. She will then drive home w/ us and stay for Thanksgiving. It's wonderful. can't wait to drink and gamble and see my Mom. We'll be staying here.
That about sums up November. Oh except, I'm missing Divas baby shower because she had to move to Florida!!! :) I won't see my newest 'nephew' until possibly April. I am sure I'll get picture updates almost everyday, but still.....
